What is Silver Bars?

Silver Bars is the name used by Tall Pine Council for its week long Junior Leader Training Conference.  The conference is held at CAMP TAPICO in beautiful Kalkaska, Michigan.  It provides Boy Scouts who are age 13 and above that have achieved at least the rank of First Class Scout a full week of learning and living comprehensive leadership skills that will impact them not only in Scouting but in school, at work and for the rest of their lives.

The 2000 course ran as scheduled with a full complement of boys -- more than a few late applicants were unable to attend because the course was full.  Don't let that happen to you for 2001.     Don't be left out -- watch this site for early sign up information for the 2001 course!
