What is Silver Bars? Silver Bars is the name used by Tall Pine Council for its week long Junior Leader Training Conference. The conference is held at CAMP TAPICO in beautiful Kalkaska, Michigan. It provides Boy Scouts who are age 13 and above that have achieved at least the rank of First Class Scout a full week of learning and living comprehensive leadership skills that will impact them not only in Scouting but in school, at work and for the rest of their lives.
